About
I will be a student at Mercer University in the fall, at the Macon, GA campus. I will be majoring in biology to become a pediatric cardiologist. I was born and raised in a beautiful historic city called Savannah, Georgia. I was born into a family who shaped all their kids into knowing that family is important. As a child, having a mother who was always so willing to help others and stayed at the hospital twenty-four seven and a father who is very compassionate and hardworking, helped mold me into choosing my career choice. I grew up loving helping those around me, it could be as small as a compliment or hug, or as hard as a huge task. I remember as a kid always wanting to become a doctor. Fourteen years later, I am following out my passion and will become a pediatric cardiologist. I have played basketball since the age of three. Since the fourth grade, I played basketball year-round except for two years. I dislocated my shoulder sixteen times! Yes, you read that correctly. I was so determined to finish out my first year that I did not think of the future consequences. I ended up having surgery my sophomore year; however, I recovered and was able to make history at my school. My senior year I was first team all-region, defensive player of the year, and region champions. I was valedictorian of my class and accomplished many things my high school years. I give much appreciation to God, my family, coaches, and teachers who helped me along the way.

- Graduate school interests
After I get my bachelors degree, I plan on getting my masters at Mercer's School of Medicine.
- Outside the classroom
I love playing basketball. Basketball has always been a stress reliever for me. Also, I love spending time with my family. On my off days, I enjoy talking to my family, working out, listening to music, and chilling. I recently found an interest in reading books willingly. I am currently ready "Never Give Up" by Marion Devoe.
