About

Kinesiology major from UNLV, expecting to graduate with my B.S. in December of 2016. I work as a Behavior Interventionist - having the privilege to work with children where I can create meaningful change in their life. I teach yoga - having the privilege to share why I love the practice with others. I am pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy where I can continue to create change in the lives of others by guiding people to become more independent. I am family oriented and believe that everyone has the right to a stable support system.

My vision is holistic wellness - wellness within the domestic, academic, social, and economic scope. Personally, optimal wellness is based off a set of principles - healthy habits, positive thinking, and effective coping mechanisms - and the ability to integrate those principles to handle whatever life throws at you. I am working to grab opportunities where I can build from those principles. I am hoping to gain insight from many opportunities to guide me into the healthcare industry.

I am currently a student, soon-to-be college graduate, working on getting into graduate school, and open to opportunities where I can gain insight on the integration of optimal wellness.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am pursuing a career in the healthcare industry. I currently teach yoga and I work for a non-profit as a Behavior Interventionist. My intended job path is to provide services for the community and to be able to support myself from the services I provide. I want to be involved in community outreach events and build affiliations with other organizations that work to help the community.

My intended job path is to be a holistic wellness advocate. I want to help people become more independent and achieve life goals. I believe that everything occurs in cycles and that everything is connected is some way or another. I want to help others develop skills that enriches the lives of others - creating a cycle of encouragement, inspiration, and positivity.

I want to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist.

Graduate school interests

I am interested to attend Boston University because it is ranked #1 program for Occupational Therapy in the nation.
