About

My name is Shay Young, I am a third year college student with a major in Biology, and minor in Anthropology. I am a full time student/athlete at NAU, playing basketball has gotten me through college thus far. I plan on going to graduate school for Marine Biology and am currently researching different schools to see what fits me best with possible coaching openings.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I specifically want to go into marine biology and conservation research. The oceans are absolutely fascinating to me, they hold many mysteries and answers that we must seek out to find and preserve not only for human use but for the purpose of biodiversity on our planet.

Graduate school interests

I'm looking at all schools with excellent Marine biology programs and offer a PhD along with either scholarship availability or a GA coaching spot and the basketball team.
