Shea Leonard

My personal belief is that the best learning comes from taking risks: trying new sports, attempting new skills, stepping out of my comfort zone. My leadership is driven by this philosophy. Whether it is through being a Spanish tutor for elementary students during Covid, the vice president and founding member of the Icebreakers Club assisting refugees, a surf instructor, or as a motivator for my track team, my experience has taught me that leadership is not being a bystander. My goals are to attend a university where I can follow my dreams of furthering my education. I would love to study communication or business where I can utilize my Spanish speaking skills, international interest, artistic creativity and writing skills to give back to my community.
