About
As a dedicated and passionate nursing student at Chamberlain University, I am committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients while continuously advancing my skills and knowledge in the healthcare field. With a strong foundation in nursing through my Practical Nursing Diploma and a variety of certifications, including IV Therapy and Phlebotomy, I have developed a well-rounded skill set that spans clinical tasks, patient care, and medical operations management.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in settings such as CSL Plasma, West Jefferson Health Care, and Hands On Perfection, LLC. These roles have honed my ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments, where I have demonstrated leadership in managing operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring exceptional patient care. I have consistently prioritized critical thinking, effective communication, and teamwork, which has resulted in positive patient outcomes and a strong reputation among colleagues and supervisors.
My commitment to excellence is reflected in the recognition I’ve received, including a Certificate of Merit from the Louisiana Federation of Licensed Practical Nurses and the completion of professional certifications in medical coding and laboratory techniques. I am eager to further my growth as a healthcare professional and am driven to make a meaningful impact in the nursing field.
As a member of an honor society, I aim to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for healthcare and academic excellence. I am excited to contribute my skills, collaborate with peers, and continue my journey toward becoming a highly skilled, compassionate Registered Nurse.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Based on my education and professional experience, my intended job path is to progress toward becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) and ultimately becoming a cardiac or oncology nurse. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Chamberlain University, which will enable me to transition from my current role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to a fully licensed RN.
In the near term, I plan to continue gaining hands-on experience in clinical settings, refining my skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning. My background as a Medical Operations Supervisor at CSL Plasma, as well as my experience at West Jefferson Health Care and Hands On Perfection, LLC, has provided me with a solid foundation in patient care, leadership, and teamwork. These experiences will serve as a stepping stone for advancing in nursing practice and taking on more complex responsibilities.
In the longer term, I am interested in advancing my career through further certifications or specializations, such as obtaining certifications in critical care nursing or pursuing advanced practice roles like Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nurse Educator. My passion for compassionate care, combined with my leadership experience and clinical skills, will guide me as I continue to grow professionally and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
Ultimately, my goal is to become a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate RN who not only excels in patient care but also actively contributes to the healthcare field through leadership, education, and mentorship.
- Graduate school interests
Given my strong foundation in nursing and my passion for continuous growth, I am interested in pursuing graduate studies to further specialize in areas such as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nurse Educator. Both paths align with my career goals of advancing my clinical expertise and making a broader impact in healthcare.
Graduate school would offer the opportunity to refine my clinical judgment, research skills, and leadership capabilities, empowering me to make a lasting difference in patient care, healthcare education, and nursing practice overall. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession, whether through direct patient care as an NP or by shaping future nurses' education as a Nurse Educator.
- Outside the classroom
I have a strong commitment to continuous learning, so I enjoy reading books, articles, and research papers related to nursing, healthcare, and personal development. This helps me stay informed about new trends, advancements, and techniques in the field of healthcare.
As a nursing professional, I recognize the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being. I likely enjoy staying active through activities such as yoga and working out, which help me manage stress and stay energized for my demanding work schedule.
