About
During my time at the College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF), I have chosen to major in Conservation Biology. In order to achieve my future goal of becoming a wildlife scientist, I will have to take courses specific to my field. I have already begun to immerse myself in specialized courses, such as genetics and ecology. In the future, I will take evolution, animal behavior, and courses specific to certain taxonomic groups, such as mammology and ornithology. I have also begun to participate in a research project from fall of 2015. The project involves monitoring piping plover nests in Southern Florida in order to extract information about their nesting habits, as well as their incubation times.
