I hope to pursue a career designing and creating garments that are not only cutting edge, versatile and creative but also environmentally friendly and sustainable. Recycling and reusing garments to create brand new pieces is a growing trend in the fashion industry and aids tremendously in reducing waste from production and distribution of the typical garment cycle. The state of the environment is an issue that is near and dear to my heart and I hope to fuse that love together with my love for fashion to work towards a necessary change in the fashion industry.

I would like to pursue furthering my education to focus more specifically on garment production, it's interaction with the environment and how to improve the relationship between the two to create trendy garments while most importantly improving our impact on the environment.

My hobbies range from sewing and drawing, to cooking and hiking. I love to explore the outdoors and incorporate those experiences into my artwork. I greatly enjoy dancing as well, ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop are my favorite styles. Cosmetology has also become a beloved hobby of mine, I practice on any and everyone willing to let me brighten up their look!
