Sebhia Dibra

I am interested in health psychology, a subfield of psychology that applies psychological principles and research to the enhancement of health and prevention of illness. It ties in behavioral, cognitive, neurological and immunological principles. Health Psychology also influences health care law. For example, I could help reform the U.S. Health Care System by helping policy makers understand the importance of government subsidized health care, or the benefits of health care that other countries have developed that are far more effective and balanced among citizens. This area of study is very satisfying to me since I am dedicated to holistic health practices such as Orthomolecular nutrition and meditation. I also intend to conduct research in the neurological aspects of the brain, and how the brain directly connects to our bodies, our perception, and our health.

I am interested in studying cognitive neuroscience.
