About

As each day went by, a brand-new problem would emerge. The world was like a record player: but with a different font that would keep replaying until I said enough was enough. I balanced taking care of my siblings, going to school, and working all at once. I merely desired a simple life and a happy family. Unfortunately, you can't always obtain what you want. Uncertainties and challenges are a part of life. Positive or negative results are both possible. But it's up to you what you do to alter your destiny. Yes, it is challenging, but are you going to sit back and whine about how difficult your life is? Or are you going to take action to fix it? That was the lesson that motivated me from the amazing encounter I had. My name is Socorro Villanueva and I am from Bolivia. I am a girl that strives for change, that wants to speak for those that do not have a voice. For those that are deemed defenseless, and those that feel that their challenges, setbacks, or failures..even their past defines them. Give people the opportunity to learn that each and everyone has a purpose and a gift in this world, if they have the courage and drive to use it..so many wonders can be done.
