About

Hi, I am Sophie Claire, and my dream is to become a Clinical Psychologist one day like my cousin. In middle school, I used to stay in after school care often, and my mom teaches 1st graders, so I have developed a deep passion for child development. My personal journey with ADHD has inspired me to help others navigate similar challenges. I am also passionate about helping and understanding people with autism because everyone deserves to be able to reach their full potential without judgement or fear. I love painting and I am looking forward to expressing myself when taking AP Art my Senior year. My commitment to personal growth, despite challenges, is reflected in my academic journey. I’ve worked diligently to transform my grades from mostly B’s my freshman year to all A’s by the end of my Junior year of high school. This has significantly improved my GPA and earned me the Tulane Book Award. I am eager to continue this commitment in college and hopefully by publishing my own book one day.
