Stacy Knecht

My name is Stacy Knecht. I started back to college when 3rd child, who is my first daughter was a small baby, 11 years ago. It took me about 9 years to complete my general education requirements while raising a family and tending to the needs of my 4 children. During those years I stayed committed to my family, my education, and the healthcare industry. Neither of my parents graduated from college and most of my extended family did not see the value in my continual goal of receiving my education. I am proud to say I stuck with my education and never gave up on myself. During my college career and now, I have learned that when you keep your eye on the prize, adjustments may have to be made, but the end goal is achievable no matter how long it may take to arrive. Consistently showing up is the key to making things happen.
