Stephanie Walton

I am a farmer’s wife of a working cattle farm as well as a mother of two very active children. I attend nursing school full-time, work as an Office Manager covering two rural clinics in my community, help work the farm, as well as transport and support my daughter with her sports activities. I have always dreamed of becoming a Nurse. Now, as I work as a nurse, I feel that there is so much more I can do for the people in my community. This is the reason that I returned to further my education. I hope to achieve my goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. This has been a very long and bumpy journey for me due to medical issues both personally and with family as well as the University I was attending shutting down at the start of my senior year. However, I am determined to achieve my dream as well as show my children that you can achieve anything you put your mind to, no matter the obstacles. I will succeed in achieving my dreams!
