Steven Mea

I intend on graduating from Millersville University in December of 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in History, minoring in Governmental and Political Affairs. Afterwards, I will seek a position as a writer/editor/assistant working for a magazine/journal/newspaper that focuses on my interest in History, Politics, and the Social Sciences in general. While working at this intended institution, I will take night classes to complete a Masters Degree in History. Then, I hope to gain a position at a research institution that deals with history specifically. At some point in the future, I will seek a Doctorate in History, and teach/research at a University.

I have been looking at Graduate schools in the Philadelphia area to fulfill my dreams of becoming an Historian, including Temple University, LaSalle University, Rutgers Univerisity at Camden, Villanova University, and others that are slightly outside of the city, such as West Chester University.

I enjoy creating and playing music for local bands and campus organizations. I have been playing the drum kit for going on 9 years, have been involved in a local Phoenixville band for 5 years, and played with multiple Millersville bands and organizations. I have also recorded a full length album, and have worked in the studio for multiple bands.
