About
My name is John Stone Laraway II, Stone for short. I work in the Middle Market space under the umbrella of Corporate Banking.
LinkedIn URL: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stonelaraway/
Our mission, unofficially, is to provide exceptional service to our sales representatives by providing an unconditional commitment to providing the highest level of customer service to every person, regardless of the circumstances.
My current role encompasses project management and data analytics. I’m responsible for month end reporting for portfolio at the household, loan, deposit, treasury management and capital markets level; and month-end loan utilization reporting. I also leverage my strengths to other departments at Capital One (e.g., Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) Supplier to Client (S2C), Commercial Risk, Sales and Services, Client Services, and Marketing & Analytics (M&A).
I proactively volunteered for the MMB Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging business resource group by providing an internal website containing all of the MMB DIB information including its mission statement, identifying its DIB council members, upcoming events and contacting its members via its Slack channel.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in analytics specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence at Rutgers University. I completed my undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts-Boston in Management Information Systems.
I consider myself to be a member of the LGBTQ community. I identify as a gay male, but I'm so much more than this label suggests.
I was recipient of the Richard L. Storinger Award from the Kenan Institute for Ethics and University of Virginia, in 2003, for upholding academic integrity in the face of adversity.
