About
As a military wife, I left my previous career to raise my children and support my husband. I always wanted to go to college but never had the opportunities. After his retirement, at age 40, I returned to community college. In May of 2017, I graduated with distinction and Phi Theta Kappa Honors. I plan to continue on for my Bachelor's degree, and hopefully graduate school at some point. The learning process and opportunity has been a wonderful experience thus far and I only hope to excel even further. My academics are important to me and I have maintained honors and several semesters with a 4.0 while being a full time mother, wife of a disabled veteran, and business owner. I created my business from the ground up as well.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I completed my Associate's degree in General Studies and plan to go on for a business degree, and hopefully an MBA at some point. I have created and built my own business and hopefully can continue to do so. I also have 25 years of customer service, mostly in the airline industry. If I returned back into the workforce I would like to take my previous airline experience, combine it with a degree, and eventually have an opportunity to obtain a Management Position.

When I am not concentrating on school or business, I enjoy spending time with my family. My elderly parents live with me so I care for them as well. I like to take the family camping and fishing. I enjoy hiking and reading. I love to be able to sit down quietly and read a good book.
