About

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina, and attend Sugar Creek Charter High School, and I am a rising senior. I would describe myself as a capable and well-bodied woman for any task and obstacle that I am met with. I am a spontaneous team player and a solid communicator and I enjoy sharing ideas and giving a new perspective on topics of discussion as well as introduce new and spontaneous ideas. I am an organized and concise person when it comes to projects, both group or independent and I excel in leadership positions due to my balanced, diligent, and determined character. My passion has always been to assist others in discovering their best selves so that they can boldly become the person they've always wanted to be and establish emotional boundaries within themselves and others. As a result, I find it necessary to create an open and secure environment when communicating with others. These events solidified my decision to pursue a career in Psychology and Neuroscience.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently studying to be a psychotherapist. I participate in extracurricular activities involving psychology and mental health awareness, as well as self-educating myself through books, videos, and online lectures.

Graduate school interests

I plan on attending Yale University in pursuit of my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience.

Outside the classroom

Debates and Discussions: My friends and I engage in online debates and conversations about social issues with other groups of individuals
“Operation Spread The Word” is an all-women group organized by two
others and myself with the intention of discussing vital topics
such as news happening overseas, news within the country, and finally
news within the media. We cover issues such as racism, sexism, and
police brutality. We deliver an unbiased perspective on these issues while
simultaneously raising the voice for women POC within the country.

Social Media Platform:
I founded and operate an Instagram page formally known as “@the_universes_safe_space," where I devote time to sharing information on mental health and raising awareness about the issue for both men and women, as well as using my graphic design and media knowledge to create and produce content ranging from videos to photos with inspirational words.
