Talor Kinzy

Hello everyone. My name is Talor Kinzy and I am from Kentwood, Louisiana. I received my bachelor’s degree in 2014 from Southern University in Mass Communication. Shortly after, I begin working in administration at the Amite Health Unit for 4 years. In 2018, I begin working for Florida Parish Human Services Authority in administration, helping those with mental health issues receive services.

In August of 2019, I begin my teaching journey. I taught 1st grade, then transitioned to high school. Unfortunately I caught COVID-19 and had lingering health problems that caused me to stop teaching. However, I have been working as an substitute teacher to gain teaching experience with various grades.

I am currently a graduate student at Lamar University. My field of study is Digital Learning and Leading. Please visit my website to view my journey and blogging as I progress through grad school.
