About

My name is Tamara McMillian, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration at Purdue Global University. I am scheduled to graduate in July 2026, and I am proud of the academic achievements I have earned throughout my educational journey.

In February 2025, I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Medical Administrative Assistant, which provided me with a strong foundation in healthcare operations, medical office administration, patient services, healthcare documentation, and administrative support. Completing this degree inspired me to continue my education and further develop my knowledge and skills in healthcare administration.

Education has always been important to me, and I have remained committed to academic excellence while balancing family responsibilities and personal goals. Through determination, perseverance, and hard work, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA for the past five consecutive terms and have earned recognition on the Chancellor's List for outstanding academic achievement. These accomplishments reflect my dedication to lifelong learning and my passion for the healthcare field.

Upon completing my bachelor's degree in July 2026, I plan to continue my educational journey by pursuing a Master of Science in Health Care Administration at Purdue Global University. My goal is to expand my expertise in healthcare leadership, strategic planning, healthcare policy, operations management, quality improvement, and organizational effectiveness. I am committed to continuous professional development and to making meaningful contributions to the healthcare industry.

As a mother and grandmother, earning these degrees represents more than personal accomplishment—it demonstrates the value of persistence, resilience, and never giving up on your goals. I hope my educational journey serves as an example to my family and others that it is never too late to pursue higher education and invest in your future. My commitment to learning, professional growth, and academic excellence continues to drive me toward achieving my long-term goals in healthcare administration.
