About

The decision to return to college was multi-dimensional: to advance my career, increase my capacity to influence change, and encourage my children never to give up. After a long hiatus, I reentered the academic arena to complete my graduate degree in MS in Human Services. Accomplishing my undergraduate degree with four young children as a single working mother in 2013 was a proud moment and a time to take respite from my educational journey. The hiatus allowed me to focus on my children, participate in their activities, be an engaged parent, and be an active community member.
