About
Yes; I am a sophomore at Northern Illinois University. However, that is not all that I am. That is merely a portion of who I could describe myself to be. You have come across an intellectual, charismatic, conscious, and independent being. I believe that progression is key, and at some point, we will all get to a place where we no longer have to knock at the door of success because we'll have all we need to go in. I, myself, am still on that road, but through determination and perseverance, I can make my dreams a reality.
Education
-
Northern Illinois University
Double Major in English/Journalism
2013 – 2017
Goals and interests
- Career goal
In terms of journalism, I intend to either take the career path of a radio broadcast journalist or a print journalist. If I do not decide on those two specific fields, I plan on writing prompters for news stations such as Fox News, CBS, NBC, and etc. In terms of English, I plan to go to graduate school and earn my Master's in English. After that, if I do not take the journalism route of writing for news stations, I would want to become an English professor or become an author for suspense stories similar to Agatha Christie.
- Graduate school interests
I am merely a sophomore, so I have not done a ton of research on the graduate school I would like to attend subsequent to my graduation from Northern Illinois. However, I plan to go to graduate school for only my English major. I also plan to be located somewhere in California.
- Outside the classroom
In my pastimes, I enjoy writing poetry and my own songs. I also enjoy bike riding and playing my clarinet when I am not with my friends or family.
