- Outside the classroom
I have a talent for textile arts and have been sewing since I was a toddler. I crochet, knit, macrame, sew, embroider, and continue to try new methods of working with fiber. Between semesters, I enjoy using my skills to make items like masks, cloth diapers, or sleeping mats for donation. I have always been a big reader but have recently transitioned to audiobooks to listen to in the car. I also enjoy foreign language and am currently improving my proficiency in Japanese and Spanish.
