About

I'm a senior at Oregon State University perusing a degree in Economics. I graduated from Mt. Hood Community college with a General Associates of Science. I supported my self through community college by working multiple jobs. While finishing my associates I found my passion in Economics. In 2021 I enrolled in the E-Campus OSU General Economics program. Being an online student has taught me how to be self motivated and organized. It's always been important to be passionate about my educational and career choices. Economics satisfies both my skillset and will give me the tools to succeed in a career. I chose this degree because I believe it will help my make an impact in my community and in the world.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I'm currently working to find a job that focuses in energy or environmental economics. I want to work in a position where I can make change on a local and global level. My ideal job includes helping my firm or department transition to more sustainable and equitable practices.

Graduate school interests

If I decide to continue school I would like to focus my masters in Natural Resources. I want to work in an economic field that focuses on a circular economy to protect our planet while ensuring people everywhere have equitable access to the resources they need to thrive.

Outside the classroom

Art, dog training, hiking, snow shoeing, camping, puzzling, reading, poetry and board games.
