About
From a young age, I have been driven by two powerful passions—helping others and working with animals. Now, as I pursue my Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Services, I am determined to turn those passions into a lifelong mission: creating an animal-assisted therapy center for at-risk children and teenagers. I believe that by combining the healing power of animals with a safe, nurturing environment, I can help young individuals overcome their struggles, build resilience, and find hope for the future.
My experience as a nanny and my work in school and church youth programs has given me firsthand insight into vulnerable youth's challenges. I have seen the profound impact that guidance, patience, and compassion can have on a young person's life. At the same time, my work with animals has deepened my understanding of their therapeutic benefits, from reducing anxiety to fostering emotional connection.
My unwavering commitment to turning this vision into reality sets me apart. I am not only passionate about helping others, but I am also proactive in finding solutions that make a lasting impact. I aim to create a place where struggling adolescents can heal, grow and ultimately thrive. I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
