About

Hello my name is Terryn McDonald and I am pursuing a career path in private aviation, I am currently working across my company’s locations in Phoenix, Arizona, and Boise, Idaho. I serve in three roles within private aviation as a charter advisor, corporate flight attendant, and customer service representative, which has allowed me to experience the industry from several different perspectives. Alongside my professional career, I am pursuing my master’s degree in Aviation Business Administration at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am passionate about understanding the private aviation ecosystem as a whole and continuing to expand my knowledge of business, operations, safety, and luxury hospitality.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is to become an international corporate flight attendant, combining my passion for aviation, travel, and luxury hospitality while gaining experience throughout the global private aviation industry. As my career progresses, I plan to transition into aviation operations as an aircraft dispatcher, where I can apply my experience in the cabin alongside my knowledge of flight planning, safety, and operations.

Graduate school interests

My graduate school interests include aviation business management, leadership, private and business aviation, flight operations, safety, and professional development. I am especially interested in understanding how the different areas of the aviation industry work together and applying that knowledge throughout my career. Outside of the classroom, I stay involved in the aviation and leadership communities through the National Society of Leadership and Success, Honor Society, Arizona Business Aviation Association, Women in Aviation International, the Airline Dispatchers Federation, and the Embry-Riddle Business Aviation Student Association.
