About
My name is Tessa Lovvorn. I am 22 years old and originally from Huntsville, Alabama. I am a senior at the University of Alabama and I am scheduled to graduate in December 2016. I currently maintain a 3.81 GPA, but I am determined to get it up to a 4.0 before graduation. I transferred to UA in 2014 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Calhoun Community College in Huntsville. After a year and a half of indecisiveness and self-reflection, I decided to major in marketing and minor in public relations. Looking back, it's hard to believe that choice wasn't always obvious to me. I have always loved human interaction and working with other people on large-scale projects. I hope to one-day obtain a job that will let me do just that. I want to be able to utilize the skills that I have learned in areas of both business and communication.

I was awarded this scholarship after my high school graduation in 2012. Recipients of this scholarship must have made a 27 or above on their ACT.

I was awarded this scholarship in 2013 while involved with Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Calhoun Community College. The scholarship was centered around academic excellence and community service.

- Graduate school interests
I hope to attend graduate school at the University of Alabama after my Fall 2016 graduation. I would also be open to attending other universities. I am interested in obtaining either a Master of Business Administration or a Master of Arts in Communication Studies.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include: spending time with friends and family, reading, writing, hiking, kayaking, traveling. yoga, attending concerts and music festivals, and watching Alabama football.
