About

Hello, my name is Teyobesta, and I am a hardworking high school student who is committed to academic growth, leadership, and service. In middle school, I was a high-achieving student who earned all A’s except for one B, which placed me among the top students in my school. I was honored to receive the President’s Award and the Straight A’s Award, which were given to students ranked in the top 10. In high school, I have continued to challenge myself by being involved in Robotics Club, Honor Society, NJHS, and HOSA. Through these activities, I participated in competitions, helped improve my school community, and developed leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I competed in Sports Medicine for two years and Mental and Social Health for one year, and I earned a 95% on the Sports Medicine CTE test, achieving the highest score in my school. I also gained healthcare experience at Banner Health, where I completed over 100 hours within 3–4 months. Although stress in 9th grade affected my GPA, that experience motivated me to work harder, grow stronger, and remain focused on improving myself academically and personally.
