About

I am a current honors student at the University of Texas majoring in Biology with the hopes of one day going to medical school and becoming a doctor. I am also currently doing research with regards to genetic engineering as apart of the Freshman Research Initiative at UT. Science is a field of vast opportunity and limitless possibilities all of which are quite exciting. This along with the opportunity to one day truly make a difference in the world and help people are what motivate me to get out of bed and continue to study and conduct research.

Outside the classroom

I have been an athelete my whole life and still continue to surround myself with sports to this day. I played tennis at the highest level in Texas for many years before going off to college and continue to play recreationally to this day. I am interested in mostly anything science related especially pertaining to space or the medical field. I love frequent visits to the Museum of Natural Science in Houston, Texas and I enjoy conducting scientific research with the hopes of one day getting a scientific article published in a journal.
