CDA Essay Contest, 1st prize

Required to write an essay on a given moral topic. Won first prize in the State court three years.

Career goal: Engineering is the path that I wish to pursue at the moment. I have always been good at math and pretty good at physics, and this is a world of invention and enterprise, especially in the field of electrical technology. For this reason I wish to look into electrical, or possibly mechanical engineering. I wish to play a part in the this world of truly amazing technological progress.
Graduate school interests: Even though I wish to be a engineer, at the moment I am attending a Liberal Arts college, Thomas Aquinas College in southern California. My reason for this is that no matter what I intend to do with my life, I need to be a moral and logical person. I need to be a good citizen of this country, and I need to be able to recognize and rejoice truth for what it is, and recognize and refute falsity. That is what I am learning at this college. As for after I graduate from TAC, I am going to try hard to get into a well accredited engineering program, such as those offered at Penn State, Cal Tech, and Boston College, and acquire a bachelors, followed by a masters in one of the above mentioned areas.
Outside the classroom: I am learning Czech.
I wrestle, box, learn Jiu Jitzu, play football, and play tennis.
I study Astronomy
I hunt when I get the chance, (not as much sadly since i went to college)
I am learning Kendo(the art of Samurai Swordsmanship)
