I am a retired 55-year-old African American woman who decided to return to school after a 30-year hiatus. I am married, and we have a grown son. I am scared and also excited all at the same time. College has been fun even at my age. I plan to graduate in the summer of 2025.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am still deciding what job path I will take. I retired in 2014 from my profession. At age 54, I chose to go back to school and obtain my bachelor's degree.
- Outside the classroom
I love to decorate, shop, and travel. I love making anything look nice. I have an eye for interior decoration and fashion. And I love to see the beautiful places God has created.
