About
I have 3+ years of professional internship experience at PR and marketing agencies and on in-house marketing teams. I am passionate about solving problems and integrating creative, data-backed, and culturally relevant strategies to support business objectives and help companies/brands achieve their business growth, revenue generation, and product development goals.
Professional Highlights
★ Strategy - I have completed two design thinking courses with IDEO, a global design company. These courses have improved my ability to generate ideas and given me a process for creating solutions. I’ve attended client marketing, press release, and crisis communications meetings, where I observed and contributed to the strategic brainstorming process, putting my design thinking skills into action. Developing tactics to resurrect brand image, the dynamic field of crisis communications afforded me experience with finding solutions that benefit the client, their customers, their shareholders, and their commitments to CSR.
★ Marketing and PR Experience - I have obtained experience supporting diverse Marketing and PR team needs, including press release drafting and pitching, media list creation, competitor analysis, creating ad briefs, copywriting, social media campaign creation, calendar management, marketing trend analysis, cross-team communications, and more. These responsibilities have yielded experience with platforms such as Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack, Google Ads, Google Analytics, AirTable, Tailwind, Adobe, and Microsoft Suite among other key tools and tech.
★ Consultative Skills - I have solid client management and research skills. I have experience with communicating thoughtfully, professionally, and promptly, communicating persuasively and effectively with event coordinators as I advocated for clients' visions and needs, and extended this to editors and contributors, as I conveyed clients’ press release and promotional objectives in meetings. I bring naturally consultative abilities, as evidenced by the Highlands Ability Battery, with high scores in Idea Productivity and Concept Organization.
★ Masters in Strategic Communications (3.92 GPA) - I’ve acquired frameworks and data-driven tactics for effectively reaching and impacting audiences. Key courses taken as part of Fordham’s curriculum include Marketing Innovation and Technology (an MBA course), Statistics, Consumer Behavior, Digital Storytelling, Psychology, Advanced Branding, and Global Marketing Sustainability among others.
