About
My name is Tyonna Gabriella Gibson. I am a senior at Potomac High School in Maryland. I am a digital artist. The primary type of art I like to do is digital drawing and photography. Ever since I was ten years old, I found myself drawn to art and photography. One of the highlights of my high school experience was when I was asked to serve as photographer for my high school football games.
Artists around the world use their art to expresses beauty, show meaning, and send a message. Not only do I think that art has beauty, it is also subjective, and people may or may not understand why the artist expresses art in their own way.
Once I graduate, I want to be an artist that makes a difference in the world. The various kinds of art I am interested in is digital, graphic, media, photography, photo, and video editing. My plans are to become an art therapist so that I can help children who are struggling at home or in society. I want to use art to help children express themselves through paintings and by taking pictures. I believe art is the best way to heal, reduce stress, improve self-esteem while expressing who they are. I want to show them there are more to life by viewing art as a beautiful way to make them feel inspired. While in college I plan to major in art and minor in psychology. This will allow me to take my future in the right direction.
