Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to work for a public firm for a few years in order to gain experience. At some point after I graduate I will take my CPA test. Once I become proficient in my work, I want to pursue having my own business. I mainly want to help small business owners or independent contractors focus on their business activities while I assist them with their finances.
- Graduate school interests
I am intrigued about attaining a Masters in Accounting but it will not officially be an option for me until I have a more stable income.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time I really enjoy painting, especially mountain landscapes. I often use photos I've taken while hiking as reference and it makes it more challenging and fun. I also learn dance choreographies to songs from my favorite bands. I hope to learn more collaborative choreographies in the future just as I do at cultural conventions.
