About
Hello everyone, my name is William Good (I usually go by Bill, Billy) and I am originally from Nazareth, PA, but call home in Richlands, NC. Growing up I was involved in sports year round and loved being outdoors doing something. Right before graduation I decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. I spent a little over 12 years in the Corps before I was medically retired. While in the Marines I reached the rank of E-6 (SSgt/ Staff Sergeant) and met my wonderful wife Victoria (whom also spent 12 years in the Marines). We have five children (4 girls, 1 boy ranging in ages 6-16) and many pets. With all the kids in school my wife and I also attend school and work full time jobs. I am attending the University of North Carolina Wilmington for a degree in Elementary Education while working as the In School Suspension teacher/coordinator at Richlands High School. Since I have had years of experience with homework and various projects from kindergarten through high school I thought it would be a good idea for me to become an educator myself since it is a very inspiring career. I mean who does not want a job where you can interact with the youth of America on a educational, professional and personal level to help mentor and guide them into being productive members of society when they are older. An added bonus is I get to coach too, there's nothing like forming a bond with the students athletically and educationally! My future goals are to become a certified licensed educator and teach right here at one of the many schools in the area and to continue coaching. I plan on furthering my education and obtaining a Master's Degree soon after I land a job.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My plan for my future career is to become an Educator! My degree is for elementary education, but could see myself at the High School level teaching (I already work at the local High School as the In-School Suspension Teacher/Coordinator).
- Graduate school interests
I plan on continuing my education beyond my bachelor's degree, I do not know if it will be strictly be in the education field, but will strive for my master's degree!
- Outside the classroom
I really enjoy being outside, whether it's going for a family hike or outing or just being in the yard cutting grass. I love spending time with my family (5 kids, wife, dog and cat). Sports is a must, coaching and playing any sport with the kids. I currently coach high school and youth football and help out with whatever sport my kids want to play. I like to hunt and fish whenever I find time between work, school and family. We love to go to the beach and mountains on trips and to explore something new whenever possible!
