About
I am a 24 year old graduate student that decided to pursue a career that I can be passionate about for a lifetime. Since being at Southern Illinois University I have submerged myself into learning everything possible my amazing professors and mentors have to teach me. I bet on myself to come to SIU and so far, I'm paying out like a broken slot machine in Reno!

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am still getting my feet wet in this department. Through park interpretation, community involvement, the National Parks service, one of the most important goals for my future career is to be able to use my exceptional people skills because it is one of my strengths that I believe makes me stand out above the rest. Volunteer work has been one of the biggest molders of this goal and will continue to help me get my foot in the door for other opportunities.
- Graduate school interests
I remain unsure about Graduate School.
- Outside the classroom
I caught the rock climbing bug since being at SIU. I've always loved camping, and now I combine that with climbing trips
