About

I am a Pahrump Valley high schooler taking college-level courses with the ultimate goal of becoming a chemical and nuclear engineer. I am fully and utterly determined to achieve my goal. I have taken on leadership roles in my classes, clubs, and school to improve my community and I am cool under the stress of such positions.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I plan to become a chemical and/or nuclear engineer. I have taken steps towards this by teaching myself basic calculus and intending to take college-level chemistry courses at Stanford this year at Stanford Summer Session.

Graduate school interests

My primary interests that I wish to advance to a graduate level is chemistry and applied physics.I am especially interested in taking course in organic chemistry because I already partly understand much of it due to my mass of knowledge in food science. It would truly be a dream to take that knowledge to a true understanding of its bare components, the elements. It would also be fantastic to take my understanding of math to a graduate level as well. .I am primarily interested in analytic functions of complex numbers. It is fascinating the extent that imaginary numbers can be used to describe real world phenomenon despite the fact the number itself is imaginary.

Outside the classroom

My main hobbies include playing bass guitar, trying to solve math Olympiad problems, and annoying my friends by talking about a new thing I learned about.
