About

I am currently enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at Chamberlain University, with a GPA of 3.97. I am dedicated to gaining the knowledge and skills needed to better serve my patients. My studies in advanced pharmacology, pathophysiology, and clinical primary care deepen my compassion and understanding. Being recognized on the Dean’s List and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing reflect my commitment to excellence, which I diligently pursue as I approach graduation. With over 16 years of nursing experience, I have built a strong clinical foundation rooted in caring for others. Balancing full-time work with my graduate degree demonstrates my resilience and determination qualities born of a genuine love for helping people through their health challenges.

After 16 years in nursing, my passion for this field has only deepened. I cherish the everyday challenges, the fast-paced environment of clinical care, and the meaningful connections I build with my patients. Helping people navigate their health struggles is more than just a profession; it’s a heartfelt calling. Whether in a busy Emergency Room or a welcoming Community Clinic, I find fulfillment in settings where I can make an immediate, positive difference in someone’s life.
My current studies in the Family Nurse Practitioner program represent the culmination of my lifelong dedication. I work tirelessly to maintain my 3.97 GPA because I believe every patient deserves a provider committed to the highest level of expertise and compassion. My goal is to graduate soon so I can bring my years of hands-on experience into primary care, advocating for my patients and empowering families through health education and preventative care.
The healthcare environment truly feels like home to me. I am inspired by the complexity of modern medicine and the privilege of caring for others during their most vulnerable moments. This scholarship will help me complete my journey toward graduation, enabling me to step into an FNP role where I can continue serving my community with the same love, empathy, and unwavering dedication I have shown for the past 16 years.
