Zane Downey

I’m Zane Downey, a high school junior from Whitehall, Montana, with a passion for leadership, agriculture, and innovation. I currently hold a 3.84 GPA and proudly serve as the Second Vice President of my FFA chapter. I’m also an active member of the Western States Junior Red Angus Board and a candidate for the National Junior Red Angus Board.

In addition to my academic and leadership roles, I actively show sheep, goats, cattle, and hogs at major livestock shows across the country. I find deep purpose in mentoring younger showmen and helping others find success in and out of the ring.

I plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with the goal of applying that knowledge to agricultural technology and rural development. My involvement with Honor Society is a way for me to grow academically, connect with likeminded individuals, and pursue scholarships and leadership opportunities that will help support my future goals.
