From national chapters to long-term member opportunity

We made a deliberate decision to transition away from the chapter model and focus on opportunities that extend beyond a campus or graduation date: career resources, personal branding, technology, and preparation for fields with strong growth potential.

Our giving reflects a commitment to opportunity beyond our own membership. Our next chapter focuses on making useful tools and resources part of the journey from education into work and throughout a career.

Honor Society AI / A growing member experience

What is Honor Society AI™?

Honor Society AI™ brings AI into the Honor Society experience, with a focus on résumé preparation, personal branding, scholarship research, and career planning. AI already helps power the experience today. The aim is practical: help you turn your own experience and goals into a clearer next step.

  • Career preparation: Our AI résumé focus: organizing your experience, refining résumé descriptions, and preparing professional introductions.
  • Personal branding: Our AI personal-branding focus: turning achievements, projects, and experience into clearer profiles and professional stories.
  • Scholarship research and planning: Our AI scholarship focus: researching relevant awards, understanding application requirements, and organizing your next steps.

The goal is to reduce repetitive work while keeping members in control of the information they share and the materials they use.

Your experience. More clearly expressed.

Illustrative example: Notes such as “I scheduled volunteers and counted donations for a food drive” can become “Coordinated volunteer schedules and tracked donations for a community food drive.” This example illustrates the kind of assistance guiding development; your own experience remains the foundation.

Access: Available AI features depend on your account and the current beta. Explore Honor Society AI and sign in to review current availability and access.

More questions / Straight answers

Honor Society membership: common questions.

Is Honor Society affiliated with other honor societies?

Honor Society® at HonorSociety.org is an independent membership organization and is not affiliated with National Honor Society or other honor societies. Each organization has its own membership criteria, programs, and benefits. Honor Society brings recognition, scholarship applications, and career preparation together for students, graduates, and professionals. Read our transparency statement.

Is HonorSociety.org the same as National Honor Society?

No. Honor Society® and National Honor Society (NHS) are separate organizations that can complement each other. NHS recognizes high school students through school-based chapters, with selection based on scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Honor Society at HonorSociety.org supports students, graduates, and professionals through an online experience that extends across education and career stages. You can join free, build your profile, and apply for scholarships without needing a campus chapter. Plus plans add Vault career guides, Infobase professional learning courses, article publishing, and dining and health discounts, with additional services at higher tiers.

For people seeking direct online access and support beyond high school, Honor Society can be a good fit. Its focus on professional profiles, career preparation, and Honor Society AI™ connects recognition with practical next steps.

If you belong to NHS, Honor Society can complement that achievement: bring your leadership and service experience into your profile, explore additional scholarships, and prepare for college and career transitions. You can value your NHS experience while building your next chapter with Honor Society.

What does membership recognize?

Membership reflects your participation in a community focused on ambition, growth, and opportunity. You can describe your membership alongside your experience, projects, and separately earned awards. Membership itself does not certify a particular GPA or class rank.

Is a Plus plan worth it for me?

A Plus plan can be useful when you will use its included benefits. Start with a goal—preparing for interviews, publishing your perspective, or using relevant member discounts—then compare the benefits with the recurring cost. Joining remains free. Membership does not guarantee employment or admission.

How should I evaluate Honor Society reviews?

Read reviews for the specific experience described: joining, using benefits, receiving support, or canceling. Consider both favorable and critical feedback, the date, and the terms that applied. If a review raises a question about your own membership, Member services can help clarify our current policies.
