Day 2 was a huge walking day for us, but we got lucky that the weather wasn't too hot for a DC summer day. We began the morning bright and early with a 7am breakfast. This was followed by a morning filled with walking around DC to see the memorials. We saw the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and FDR memorial.

After so much walking around we all really worked up an appetite and headed over to Union Station for lunch. This was a cool experience, especially for those who had never been to the East Coast because importance in commuting by train is pretty unique to the East Coast.

After lunch we were ready to take on more of DC! We headed over to the Capitol for a tour. Following the tour we visited the Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and the National Archives!

Of course, the day would not be complete without photo ops in front of the White House!
