Quinashai - Honor Society Community Service Scholarship

Quinashai - Honor Society Community Service Scholarship

My Name is Quinashai and I attend the University of Houston. I believe that community service means investing into something that has been overlooked or undervalued. I was one of the many students who could not attend a university following high school graduation due to unexpected family finance issues. I felt overlooked and undervalued, because I knew my worth. I began furthering my education at Rose State College in Oklahoma City, where I worked hard academically and served my community.  Community service was a personal choice, not a scholarship or course requirement and because of that, I am now a recipient of this community service scholarship presented by HonorSociety.org. I am ever so grateful to accept this scholarship that will be used towards my tuition for this fall semester. I encourage everyone to lend a helping hand somewhere, investing into something that has been over looked or undervalued.
