Honor Society® Expert FAQ
How do you compare college acceptance offers?
Compare college acceptance offers using academic fit, net price, program access, student services, and the conditions of admission and aid. A more famous name or larger scholarship headline does not settle the decision.
Compare the education and the full cost to complete it
Check whether you were admitted to the intended major, an honors program, or a pathway that requires later selection. Compare grants and scholarships separately from loans and work-study, and review renewal conditions across future years. Include housing, travel, and other costs outside tuition.
Honor Society’s financial-aid comparison guide provides a worksheet for making those differences visible. Pair it with a list of what matters most to you, such as course availability, advising, or the ability to work while studying. Ask unresolved questions before paying a nonrefundable deposit.
Your next steps
- Compare total net costs over a consistent attendance period.
- Verify major access and scholarship renewal conditions.
- Resolve practical questions before the response deadline.
