Questions about joining Honor Society
Who can join Honor Society?
Membership welcomes students and professionals across fields of study and career stages. There is no minimum GPA to join. Academic recognition levels and individual scholarships have separate criteria. Review membership requirements.
Is Honor Society membership worth it?
Its value depends on your goals and the resources you use. Start with free membership, identify a relevant resource, and compare premium benefits with their cost before upgrading. Membership provides access to opportunities; it does not guarantee a scholarship, job, or admission.
Can I include Honor Society on my resume?
You can accurately list your membership in a relevant memberships or activities section. Include specific involvement or an award you actually received when applicable. Describe membership as membership, and list academic honors awarded by your school separately.
