What is
ASDA?

ASDA Today: A Channel for Dental Student Concerns

ASDA is the largest national organization solely dedicated to dental student concerns. Structured as a network of chapters based at each of the 65 U.S. dental schools, ASDA is uniquely geared to respond to its members at the local, regional and national levels.

Two delegates at each dental school chapter serve as voting members of the ASDA House of Delegates. They voice the concerns of their constituents to the House of Delegates for action in the form of resolutions. As a result of passed resolutions, ASDA publishes policy statements on several issues, including dental education, licensure, dental research, midlevel providers and education financing.

Mission Statement:

The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy.
