About

As a seasoned, licensed mechanical engineer that has worked for some of the top architectural/engineering firms in the world, I take on the daunting challenge of offering innovative, energy saving, perennial solutions that are commensurate with the environmentally conscious demands of our modern society. I bear the challenging but rewarding task of staying abreast of engineering industry innovations and product developments in order to give my customers the edge.
For over 10 years I have delivered technologically advanced, energy-efficient solutions that increased the technical competitiveness of clients. My experience includes effective time management of projects, negotiation, knowledge of building systems and the ability to review and correct the work of licensed design professionals of outside firms. I have used my experience in the construction industry to collaborate and build bridges between multiple stakeholders on projects─ stakeholders such as outside clientele all the way to internal project managers. It is my goal to merge my engineering expertise with that of my MBA degree in order to deliver advanced solutions in a timely, budgetary, and efficient manner.

With my MBA degree I anticipate and hope that I can build upon the groundwork that I have already laid with my engineering expertise, volunteering opportunities, and ministry experience and expand it into reaching a broader demographic of people as opposed to just the sphere of my local community. It is my audacious hope that my MBA degree will evoke innovative and creative ideas inside me that will impact my community economically by igniting the creation of new jobs for others. There is an entrepreneurial embryo inside of me that is in dire need of being birthed. I'm confident that my MBA degree from Mississippi State University is just the nourishment and development that it needs to ward off miscarriage, come to life, and grow to make a difference in the community, marketplace, and the world.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Looking to combine technical expertise and business education for a position in business management, education, project engineering, operations management, capital finance, or strategic business consulting. I would love to get involved with politics at some point in my career, whether on the local or state level.

Graduate school interests

I just graduated from graduate school with an MBA degree from Mississippi State. The nexus of my curriculum centered on managerial economics, finance, marketing management, operations management, and accounting in addition to human resources management.

Outside the classroom

When I have spare time I love to watch football and basketball games whether it is in person or on television. I also have a penchant for reading and writing. I have turned my interest of reading and writing into an upstart, local publishing company that inspires up and coming writers to write and publish their works. Being a minister I also love to engage in ministry activities. I enjoy volunteering and spreading God's love to the elderly, less fortunate, and the youth.
