About
Hey peeps! I am Aidan Corrales. I like virtually everything nerdy. I want to be a robotics teacher someday. I currently mentor a high school robotics team. They even qualified for the world championship the first year I mentored, but I didn't get to go because of my school. I currently work as a math tutor with the university, which I love! It is fun, plus great experience for teaching someday. I also cosplay Star Wars with my girlfriend, who is even nerdier than me. I am an Eagle Scout: Silver Palm. I am also on the ministry team at the university Baptist Student Ministry.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently studying to be a Mathematics teacher. I am going through a full mathematics degree, with an emphasis in secondary education. My real reason for the degree is that I want to teach robotics. I really fell in love with it during high school. I hope to use my degree to get into a school, then start my own robotics program. I believe that robotics is an effective, hands-on, real world application of math, so I want to use it to change the stigma usually associated with math.
- Graduate school interests
N/A Although I may continue my education in mathematics if I ever want to become a professor.
- Outside the classroom
I love cosplaying! I make Sci-fi armor/helmets/costumes with my friends. I cosplay from Star Wars and Doctor Who mainly. I also am a graphic artist. I am pretty good with my hands. I like building things, and I love using everyday materials for things they were not made for. I love making broken things beautiful.
