About
My name is Andrea Trejo. I was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico and raised there for fifteen years. I moved to the United States five years ago which highly impacted my life. This move was a 360 degree change for me, it took me a while to adapt, I faced many challenges and overcame them slowly but surely. As I studied the anatomy and physiology of the body in high school, I became very interested in how the body works and how it works to maintain us alive every second of the day. Our bodies work non-stop, from absorbing nutrients of the food that was ingested, to white blood cells fighting infection, to our endocrine glands releasing hormones needed to keep homeostasis, to our hearts that never get to rest because their job is to keep us alive; I decided to take as much care of my body as I could because it takes care of me daily. I started working out as well as eating healthier and fell in love with it. I have maintained that lifestyle and decided that I wanted to teach as well as help people around me to do the same. I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in November 2015 and started working at a gym in my town on January 2016. I love being able to help people as well as influence them to become their best version of themselves and live life to the fullest. I am working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology.
