Angelica Marcano

I would like to one day be in a management position working with others. I am very others oriented and I like to be around people. I also would one day like to start my own non-profit organization to help empower women. More specifically, I would like to have my very own non-profit to help women be aware of incurable diseases, such as endometriosis. I currently have this disease which hinders women from having children, as well as, causes other issues. My hope in the future is to be able to have an inviting space for women to go to, where they feel comfortable to talk about what they are going through and learn more about their disease.

I have thought about grad school but I haven't definitively decided whether or not I am going to grad school. After getting my Bachelor's degree I will come up with a plan of action to see what my best options are. I also want to look at going to the University of Dayton because they have Master's and PhD programs. I would love to go to graduate school to become a Psychologist in order to better serve the women at my non-profit I plan to run.

In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs, reading, spending time with my family and hiking. I also enjoy volunteering when I can to help make a difference in my community.
