About
My name is Katelyn Lott. I am currently pursuing EMT certification through Northern Virginia Community College and plan to go all the way through Paramedic certification. I received my Bachelor's from Shepherd University in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. I decided to become an EMT because I like to help people and there is no better way to do that then being there for a complete stranger in the moment when they need someone the most.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently enrolled in an EMT-Basic certification program. After completion of the program I plan to pursue higher certification at the EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic levels. Upon graduation from the Paramedic program I hope to pursue a career working as a Paramedic on an ambulance. After working as a Paramedic for a few year, I hope to become a flight medic.

- Outside the classroom
During my free time I like to hang out with my Grandpa, and the rest of my family. I also enjoyed being creative, through "Do it yourself" projects. I like to find these projects and then add my own spin to them. I usually use my creations and gifts for family or friends.
