About

As a dedicated registered nurse (RN) with specialty experience in long term /rehab/ Med Surgical/ and critical care gaining knowledge and education in the APRN role has been my dream and it has finally come true. I developed a strong assessment-evaluation and treatment-planning skills through employment in multiple areas but also from the education I received from Kaplan University. Knowledge of medication prescription and administration, with management and training roles has aided me in obtaining this degree. I have been eager to obtain a position as an FNP and made great sacrifice to achieve a masters to become a highly productive member in a primary care setting.
As a reliable, ethical healthcare provider with ability to stay calm and intervene during crises, to facilitate groups and educational seminars, and to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams I believe this was the next step i needed to further not only my career but my and my families future as well. Being a Member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners has professionally been useful as they are a supportive group of me through the education they continually provide.
