I am currently a Social and Behavioral Science student at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. I am studying care, health and society with a particular interest in cultural medicine. I grew up in the small farming community of Hudsonville, Michigan and have moved to many diverse communities since then. I have a deep and resounding love for different cultures and hope to use this passion to helping others improve their lives through education and compassion.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am seeking a medically-related position in an office, laboratory, or research setting to utilize medical, sociological, and office instrumentation skills. I have concentrated my major and minor to be culturally sensitive with a focus on improving medical interactions within the population.
- Graduate school interests
After I complete my bachelor degree I am considering furthering my education with a master in Speech and Language Pathology.
- Outside the classroom
I also am passionate about scuba diving and hiking and love to show others a world that they have never seen before.
